I’m so excited to share this amazing Avocado Chocolate Mousse recipe. It does sound weird but so delicious. It’s great to put into little shot glasses and keep in the fridge for guests (or Friday nights at home!). I found this in Sarah Wilsons Sugar Free Cook Book (add a link to her website, get it to open up in a new window).
As you can tell I am a little addicted to chocolate! I love chocolate and so am always in search of healthy chocolate recipes. If you know any please email them to me.
Use a stab-mixer or blender and whizz the lot. Scoop the mousse into a small serving container, like small antique teacups (I use Chinese teacups) and put in the fridge. To make this in a soup blender, simply add 1 cup of coconut cream.
I kind of experiment with this recipe; you might not like as much cacao.
The chia seeds make it nice and thick and provide a choc-chip texture.
* 2 ripe avocados
* 1-2 teaspoons stevia
* sprinkle vanilla powder
* 1⁄2 teaspoon cinnamon
* 1 tablespoon chia seeds
*1/4 – 1/2 cup organic raw cacao powder
* pinch salt
* 1/2 cup coconut cream (stored in fridge to firm)
Would love to hear your thoughts on this one.
