Welcome to our first ever MONDAY MUMS article!
Every Monday I will be interviewing some amazing mums/moms from around the world. I’m so excited to do this as I love hearing about other mums following their dreams and loving life. If you are interested in becoming a Monday Mum please email me email@example.com
Tell us about yourself Andrea:
I am a Los Angeles based personal and career coach, helping women to live more
meaningful and authentic lives. I am also a mom (mum!) to two girls, Isabella,
4, and Nathalia, 2, and spend my weekends shuttling the little ladies to dance,
swim and various birthday parties, with the occasional break for a glass (or
bottle!) of wine with my mommy buddies.
Where are you in your health journey?
I’m fortunate to have always been a very healthy person, so it’s not something
that’s on my mind everyday. Though as I get older, my focus is on staying
active, vital and eating ethically.
How has being a mum changed your health?
Well…I both eat and exercise less. I’m not quite as good at taking care of
myself as I am at taking care of the kids. Though we eat healthful foods for
the most part, I’m simply not eating enough and though I’m quite active, I
don’t have a consistent fitness routine so I’m probably not as healthy as I was
before I became a mom.
What is the dream you are aiming to achieve this year?
My primary goal this year is to ramp up my coaching practice so that I can
begin to transition out of my full time job. My health goal for this year is to
stop eating meat.
It’s Tuesday night and you’re exhausted, what meal are you going to cook for
Turkey bolognaise with green salad. You can get the recipe – Turkey Bolognese
