Featuring this weeks Monday Mum is the amazing Rhiannon of The Wellbeing Web.
My family is made up of my two beautiful children – Madeleine 1 & Jonathan 4, my gorgeous husband Nick and me.
I am blessed that my health journey is going well at the moment. These days I have deep respect for all areas of my health as once upon a time I used to take it for granted. Sleep deprivation is the main challenge I am facing at the moment but the lack of sleep has inspired me to actively improve my diet. I now drink a green juice most days of the week and have cut down my lattes and chocolate treats.
Soon after becoming a mum it became crystal clear that I needed to take care of myself – especially if I wanted to be a wonderful mum whilst maintaining my sanity! Four years ago, I actively began my wellbeing journey and it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I knew I didn’t like feeling overwhelmed so I became an expert in monitoring my mindset. I now rarely experience mother-guilt, I am aware of my self-talk and I no longer try to be perfect…instead I embrace loving thoughts and ensure my actions are fuelled by kindness.
The dream I am trying to achieve this year is to create more awesome wellbeing events for women whilst maintaining a beautiful and balanced life with my family.
I would probably have to say pasta with a Napoli sauce – quick, easy and yummy.
