A smoothie bowl for breakfast. For those who have been following me for a while you would know that I absolutely love Ground Organics. Ground is a gorgeous cafe here on the Sunshine Coast and the other day they opened up a new Wellness Store in Mooloolaba. I was there the other day meeting some friends and I had a delicious Acai Berry Bowl. It was amazing and I of course had to try and make it at home! Here is the result…
How to make it…
Get 1/2 cup buckwheat groats (hulled buckwheat) and pour into the bottom of your bowl
Make up a smoothie of your choice – try this recipe
Add some shredded coconut on top with some goji berries, almonds, cashews, pepitas and sunflower seeds. I also added some fresh mango as it’s in season at the moment.
It takes all of 5 minutes to put together and you could always make it to take to work.
Be creative! I’ve never used buckwheat before but it’s delicious. What else can I do with buckwheat??
