Losing weight after kids has been one of THE biggest obstacles I have come across. There is so much information out there; low carb, low fat, no sugar, high protein, shakes, hypnotherapy and the list goes on!
I am going to tell you The Zen of Losing Weight After Kids.
It’s all in your head! How you think forms the direct foundation of your actions. If you think that you HAVE to lose weight, that you have no self-control, that you need to cut out this whole food group then you are really setting yourself up for failure.
You need to change your thoughts. Just change one thought every week and you will get there and actually keep the weight off! I cannot begin to tell you the importance of developing a healthy relationship with food so that you can be an amazing role model for your children. If you are constantly dieting, chances are your child will see that.
Don’t forget children don’t always listen to what you say
but they sure do follow what you do!

WOW! Your body created a child (doesn’t matter how long ago!). That is incredible. Now you need to remind yourself of that and start showing your body some respect. Some love. Some kindness.
Start with writing a list of some loving rituals you can incorporate into your routines. I love nurturing my body with a delicious Green Smoothie every morning. I also enjoy walking in the morning where I spend time thinking about my plans, my family and watching the birds. See where I am going… You don’t have to punish yourself at the gym to lose weight. If you are stressed and look at your body with disgust you will never achieve the results you truly deserve.
